Andover Democratic Town Committee 2017 Caucus
Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 7PM
Memorial Hall Library (Memorial Hall on top floor)
2 North Main Street, Andover, MA 01810
At Thursday night’s caucus, we will elect 8 male Delegates, 8 female Delegates, 2 male Alternates, and 2 female Alternates to represent Andover at the State Convention.
If you wish to run for a Delegate or Alternate position but cannot attend the caucus, you must inform me no later than 5PM on Thursday, March 2. All caucus attendees will be given priority for Delegate or Alternate positions; however, in the case that we are unable to fill any of these positions with candidates present, we will proceed to nominate those who expressed interest to me prior to the caucus and could not attend the meeting.
In addition, the Massachusetts State Democratic Party Convention also has youth, minority, and disabled add-on delegates. Interested candidates who qualify for these positions must complete and send an add-on application form to the Massachusetts Democratic Party. This form must be received by 5:00PM on April 4, 2017. For more information, please see the 2017 add-on delegate form: https://www.massdems.org/files/2017-Add-On-Form.pdf

You MUST be at the registration table no later than 7:15PM to be eligible to participate in the caucus and run for Delegate or Alternate positions. No absentee or proxy voting is allowed at this caucus.
Sixteen and seventeen year olds who pre-register to vote and who will be age 18 or older by September 11, 2018, may fully participate as voting caucus participants or candidates for Delegate or Alternate.
